Your Volunteers answered a 135 incidents for 2020.

We all know 2020 was tough on everyone, but 2021 is here and what better time to make a change in your personal life than right now, Get out and join the fire department! Many residents are not even aware that we are a 100% VOLUNTEER organization. Our firefighters are your neighbors who answer the call for assistance morning, day and night while still working their regular jobs and juggling their busy personal lives. We provide all of the personal protective equipment free of charge and arrange for you to attend various training events held at our firehouse as well as at local county and state training facilities. Riding a fire truck not for you? That's okay, we have many other ways you can help us around the firehouse taking the work load off some of our officers. So stop down, talk with us, see what we do and give it a shot! Neighbors helping neighbors... Membership starts at the young age of 14

** High school students or anyone looking for higher education, join the fire department and have the opportunity to attend CCAC for FREE!! Allegheny County and CCAC are partnered together to offer full scholarships to firefighters. Google CCAC and FireVEST to read all about it
