The second week of April every year is deemed National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. In 2021, this period of celebration and appreciation falls from April 11 to 17 . We would like to thank all of the men and women at Allegheny County Emergency Services (ACES) for the hard work and long hours you put in. Your a true asset to the all of the residents, visitors and 1st responders of this county!
This evening area crews gathered at acquired home in Port Vue to work on search, victim/firefighter removal and vertical ventilation. Instructors were able to smoke the house up and allow our personnel to practice breaching walls and victim removal in low visibility, even are junior member got to crawl around in the "controlled" environment to experience the near zero visibility. It was great evening of training with our mutual aid friends.

The Seagrave was officially placed in service this evening by Chief Corey Derr. Hard work and dedication from many of our members contributed to this very special project coming to fruition. We are excited to announce the replacement of our 1973 Mack pumper. The new pumper (well new to us) has arrived and is currently going through the process of having some adjustments made to suit our operational needs, as well as some minor cosmetic repairs.
