Early this morning, the first alarm was transmitted for a reported building fire at Jo Lynn Pizza in the borough. Communications started to receive multiple calls for smoke coming from the building which was confirmed by Liberty police when they arrived. Crews from the South Allegheny district arrived finding smoke pushing from the roof and fire presenting it self near the peak. 183 engine arrived deploying 2 hand lines while Duquesne Truck 133 (acting 161 truck on the box) positioned in the parking lot, side alpha. Duquesne's crew from the truck and rescue split sending personnel to the roof for ventilation and interior to support fire attack deploying a line from the quint along with personnel from 183,184 and 237. The fire was brought under control relatively quickly and is currently under investigation by the county fire marshal.
