Weather Incidents - Borough of Liberty
Mon. Jun 14th 2021

Crews were kept busy this afternoon as severe weather moved into the Mon Valley just after 1500hrs. Heavy down pours were mixed with high winds and lighting throughout the area, Personnel handled multiple reports of trees being brought down, power lines down and other property damage reports. Crews moved from one incident to another clearing roads, assessing damage from trees falling and securing areas where power lines were involved. We would like to thank all of our residents who offered water to crews that were out working today as well as Central VFC of Elizabeth Twp who checked on a couple hazard calls for us.
